Greetings Everyone,

It was an extremely noisy night last evening on the boat as the winds picked up and howled through the rigging. We were forced to listen to fenders violently rubbing against the dock, the dinghy bouncing around on the davits, water splashing against the hull and random deck hardware clanging over and over above us. After hours of this cacophony of sounds the winds subsided and we got back to sleep. Today the winds picked up again midday rocking the boat but we managed to get off and enjoy the blue skies and cooler temperatures (nothing compared to home). We hit every local store, Grayco, Publix, Dollar Tree, Billโ€™s Liquors and Fine Wines even Butler Marine for toilet treatment liquid.  It feels so good to get off the boat and just walk. Allan is getting to be quite a patient shopper. His skills were also challenged yesterday as he was desperately needed by his first mate to help her hide her grey hair. โ€œSergeโ€ came through for her along with a box of hair dye from Walgreens. He claimed the process was very stressful but he got top marks from her.

The Christmas spirit is alive here with boaters decking out their rigging with colored lights

The Captain's patience was rewarded with a tasty apple fritter
