On the way to Canajoharie we stopped off for diesel and a pump out. The lovely owner there offered us free pumpkins to carry along on our voyage. Lynn has one sitting on the forward deck ( pictures to come later ). We hope to take it all the way to Florida. Suggestions for a name would be appreciated ( other than "Wilson" )

After arriving in Canajoharie we decided to get some groceries and of course we were walking. After a few wrong turns we were told that there was a PriceChopper "5 minutes away". We neglected to inform them that we were walking, not driving. So we walked and walked and kept walking. Exasperated, we finally stopped this couple on the street who told us that it was still quite a long way. Kindy they offered to drive us. Their home was close by so they dropped off their dog and took us to the PriceChopper. They even lent us their rewards card so we could benefit from the extra discounts. Afterwards they drove us right back to the boat. We had a really enjoyable time with them and exchanged E-mails and phone numbers. It was a special "chance encounter" moment.

We have met such wonderful people on this journey.
