Hey friends and family,

We arrived at Kingston City Marina today to a vibe that we have yet to experience. The marina is full of excited boaters enjoying the warm weather and the Columbus Day long weekend, lots of noise and tourists everywhere. A barrage of power boaters (Allan's not so favorite noisy cigar boats) screamed past us on the Hudson to meet up together for lunch at the famous Old Savannah restaurant on Rondout Creek. We refused to wave back as they left us in their nasty wakes. Alice had been relaxing on the deck when they disturbed her tranquility and you can be sure she was not impressed.

We were sad to leave our safe and quiet Riverview Marina. We wanted to share a pic of Afro Jack, a duck appropriately named for the unusual fro he has sported since he was born. He's an icon there.

Just wanted to say we so appreciate everyone's continued support by reading and commenting on the Captain's blog. Everyday is an adventure!

Miss you all.

Lynn
