Hi Everyone!

It’s sad to say goodbye to our secluded little marina here in Mrytle Beach. The Osprey folks offer boaters a comfy lounge area to hang out in and free continental breakfast all for $1.00 per foot for the first three nights then 26 cents a foot after that. Our most expensive dockage was $3.00 per foot at Atlantic Highlands but we heard of four dollars and up in the New York area. Big city prices!

Yesterday’s task of purchasing yet another toilet part lead us to a cool new restaurant called Snooky’s, in Cherry Grove. Conch Fritters, She Crab Soup and Blue Crab Mac and Cheese made for a delicious lunch. Last night we went to a Christmas show at Legends. Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Elvis, Karen Carpenter and the Blues Brothers entertained us with a few of their own songs followed a medley of Christmas tunes. Kind of hard to think about Christmas while living on the water with palm trees around.

It’s been fabulous having a rental car. We feel less like hobos having to hoof it sometimes great distances to get provisions.

The captain is getting anxious to move on, so tomorrow we head to Georgetown.

Glad to be back.

Lynn
