We are alive and well! The storm did blow through as forecasted and it took its toll on some of the boats in the marina. A few suffered ripped foresails that were not properly wrapped. There were also reported power failures in the area, although we did not experience any issues here. There was wind howling at the top portion of the rigging, but the marina was well positioned to take the winds coming out from the west. FBG came out of it completely unscathed. I did have to pump out about 4 inches of water out of the dinghy yesterday though. High winds persisted throughout the day but with no rain. Thanks for all the best wishes.

Lee, Shirley's friend picked us up and graciously offered us a home cooked meal at their lovely house. It was nice to sit down at a real dining room table with a cozy fire to top it all off. It was a very enjoyable evening and we sincerely thank Lee and her husband Jim for their hospitality. Lee also let us stop at a liquor store so Lynn could stock up her wine inventory.
