The start of the next phase of the journey will now have to wait until tomorrow. Just before we were ready to leave, I discovered that the marine toilet in the boat was not working at all. Not a thing to encounter at 4:30am, but that's the way it goes on this type of trip. We cannot travel if that isn't working.

I spent the entire day working on this. I Uber'd ( is that a word ?) over to Westmarine here in Atlantic Highlands to pick up some parts. When I was there the staff commented on a young Canadian couple being in the store a day earlier. Lynn and I know them. Cory and Alex are a "Wildly Intrepid" couple who just work so they can go on their next adventure. They "work to live" and have explored places all over the world. Lynn and I met them several times on the Erie Canal and we shared some beers here on FBG the other day here in Sandy Hook. Very inspirational couple. You can take a peek at their web site @ http://wildlyintrepid.com

I finally fixed the toilet and am ready go in the morning. The pic below is my view on a rooftop bar here having a beer and a plate of fries as a reward for repairing the toilet. Off in the horizon on the left side is the New York City skyline
